Hi everybody. It’s Kay back again for another video blog. And today we’re going to talk about the difference between people who are successful in business and people who aren’t.

And we all worry that we’re going to be the person who’s not successful and there’s one big difference between them.

And it’s not to do with their intelligence. It’s not to do with how young or pretty they are. It’s not to do with the number of qualifications. It’s none of those things.

Do you know what the difference is?

The successful people do it. That’s it.

The successful people put themselves out there and they do the steps that need to be done.

So it’s a webinar. A webinar a month. So I’ve watched a person go from zero business to a very successful business in nine months by doing a webinar a month.

That’s it. Putting themselves out there.

And yet other people in that time have thought about doing a webinar and haven’t done it. That’s the difference.

People talk about doing a launch, doing a course, having some passive programs.

The difference?

Those who do them and those who don’t.

If you don’t write the course, then you’ll never have a successful course.

If you don’t promote the course, you will never have a successful course.

So there are people that we know that are now really big in the business and they talk about their first course having one person on it.


That doesn’t look like a success but it is. Because they put it out there anyway.

They did it. And then they did it again. And then they did it again. And then they did it again.

And that’s the difference.

So we call that procrastination. When we’re gonna do something and then we don’t.

And what causes us to procrastinate?

And that’s the interesting question isn’t it?

So we all know we need to do webinars. That’s the way we’re going to grow our list, get our name out there, get ourselves known.

They’re all of the steps we need to take to get our business off the ground.

So why don’t we do it?

Well, I suggest that there’s a couple of reasons.

That fear, that need to be perfect. The desire to have it all right.

So when I’ve got a backdrop, when I’ve got the lights, when I’ve lost some weight, when I put my makeup on or when I do this, when I do that, then I will do those webinars.

Or maybe it’s when I get those qualifications. Maybe I just need a little few more qualifications and then I can do it.

Or maybe it’s you know when I write the right program. You know I keep writing but it just doesn’t look right.

Or maybe I need to do more market research and find out what people are really needing and then I can write my course.

They’re all excuses.

Absolutely, it’s lovely to have a background and it just makes everything easier. You don’t have to see what else I don’t have to make the room behind me tidy, but other people have used a sheet.

Some people just decorate a nice little corner in their room and do it. There are lots of ways to do it. You don’t have to go spend money on a backdrop.

People like you at the size, the shape, the color that you are.

All of those don’t matter because that’s who you are.

You’re whatever age you are. You’re whatever size and shape you are. They’re all just who you are and that’s who people need to hear from. Who you are.

All of those reasons that you’ve got for putting things off are just reasons. They’re just procrastination.

What do you do about them?

Aha! That’s where I come in.

Because that’s where tapping comes in.

That’s where you need to relax the brain. Take the stress and the anxiety out of the situation so that you can do a video where you’re just talking and chatting to your friends.

Because that’s really what a video is. That’s what a webinar is.

You’re a teacher. Who’s someone whose sharing your knowledge. Who’s someone whose helping people in your area of expertise.

All that sounds fantastic doesn’t it? All of those fears that you’ve got that’s what we need to work on.

Because that’s the difference between you being successful and you being unsuccessful in your business.

Whether it’s the webinar, whether it’s a launch of a program, whether it’s doing Facebook lives or video blogs. You have to get out there and do it.

And believe it or not, getting out there and doing it is actually one of the most successful ways of finding your message, of finding your way of explaining what you do. Of talking to your peeps and finding out what they need.

The easiest way to do that is to just get out there and start.

Okay, so what are we going to do about all of those thoughts and feelings that are running around inside of you saying, “I can’t do this.”?

Okay, write them all down.

Think of every reason why you haven’t done whatever it is.

So whether it’s the webinars or whether it’s launching the course. Whatever. The Facebook lives.

Write down all of the reasons you can think of why you haven’t done it.

“I don’t know what to say. I’m not good enough. I need more practice.”

All of those things. Write them all down and then let’s tap on.

So we start on the tapping and we work through them.

“So even though I don’t feel that I know my message well enough. I love and accept how I feel.”

“Even though I don’t think I’m good enough and maybe I need to practice more, I love and accept who I am.”

And as you tap, you will feel yourself calm down, you will feel the relaxation.

Doing a webinar brings those feelings up. Doing Facebook lives brings up those feelings.

But doing a course and launching it – wow!  That’s like maximum right up here.
